EFT Business Practice

EFT is a privately held civil construction firm specializing in dredging, construction management, site preparation, emergency response, heavy construction, demolition, and underground utilities. Collectively, our leadership team brings many years of experience in all phases of civil construction projects, and possesses vast experience in closely coordinating with local and national agencies.

EFT is fully insured and has secure bonding capacity, the necessary financial resources, and the technical expertise to complete any work within a certain specified range. We maintain a reliable list of outstanding subcontractors, truckers, and affiliates, as well as an extensive inventory of in-house equipment. We are committed to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and safety within the industry, and to achieving consistent results based on the highest standards.

Below is a video of our proprietary Bucket Boat which we call the Swiss Army knife of the Marine World.

  • Works as a Marine Front End Loader with the forks.
  • Has a lifting capacity of 1 Cubic Yard or 3,000 lbs of wet material.
  • Operates in only 4 inches of water.
  • Has an A-Frame and vibratory hammer installed on the stern connected to a backhoe for Piling istallation.
  • Has a hydraulic rail for installing our proprietary anchors holding vinyl sheet pile, allowing water access only for installation and anchoring.
  • Has a 1/2 cubic yard backhoe on the stern for digging to depths of 12 feet.

Here the bucket boat is removing storm debris from a channel in marsh.  Notice no marsh was destroyed in this operation.  The channel was restored to its original depth, width and length allowing a simple outboard engine driven boat access immediately after we make one pass.
